Ms. Tessa Meyer Santiago works in several areas of law: class actions, suits brought under the False Claims Act, and complex consumer litigation. Ms. Santiago studied at Brigham Young University, earning her B.A. in English in 1989 magna cum laude. She received her M.A. in English in 1992, and her J.D. in 2002.
While still in law school, Ms. Santiago won first place in the 2001 Roscoe Hogan Environmental Law Essay Contest with her essay "Biography: Order of the Barristers." The contest was sponsored by the Roscoe Pound Institute. In addition to her writing experience, Ms. Santiago is an acclaimed orator. In 1999, she won Best Oralist at her alma mater, J. Reuben Clark Law School. She also won First Place Team at the College of William and Mary in 2001.
